COLLEGE AUDITION WORKSHOP

Are you interested in pursuing a degree in theatre or musical theatre? Do you need to prepare a monologue, song, or audition tape for your college applications? Then join Kirstin O’Brien, Full-time Professor of Theatre at Keene State College, for our two-part College Audition Workshop to refine your craft, build confidence, and take your audition game to the next level!
This two-part workshop series is designed for high school juniors and seniors passionate about theatre and musical theatre. Sophomores will be considered on a case-by-case basis. You DO NOT need to be a current MoCo student.
Day 1 | September 20: Mastering the Audition
Discover what colleges seek in auditions and gain valuable insights on selecting the perfect monologue or song. Learn essential preparation techniques, including tips for self-tapes, to make your audition stand out.
Day 2 | October 11: Showcase and Feedback
Put your skills to the test by presenting the piece you’ve been working on. Receive constructive feedback from our experienced instructor, refine your performance, and enhance your readiness for the college audition process.
When: Saturday, September 20 & October 11 | 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Where: MoCo Arts’ Black Box Theatre, The Founder’s Theatre 40 Roxbury Street Keene, NH 03431
Who: High school juniors and seniors. Sophomores will be considered on a case-by-case basis. You DO NOT need to be a current MoCo student.
Cost: $100. Must attend both days.
